Wat Intharawat or Wat Ton Kwen

In the coming period we will tell a little bit about the places we visit on our adventures. If you want to know more and see it with your own eyes, we recommend to join an adventure.

1) Wat Intharawat or Wat Ton Kwen

Wat Intharawat is a temple build in the typical Northern Thai Lanna style architecture, it’s also calles Wat Ton Kwen. The complex consists of a viharn, an open pavilion (sala bat) and a large open mondop. The temple, locally also known as the Wat Ton Kwen, is one of the very few remaining wooden temples in its original state in Chiang Mai province.
