Realization of the agreement and binding effect
Booking a BuzzyBeeBike adventure commences when you complete our booking form, or ask us (by e-mail) to book an adventure. It is necessary for you to complete this form or provide us with required information (by e-mail), in order to proceed with your booking.
Participation in an adventure is not valid unless a booking form is submitted.
Payment of your deposit, and manually selecting that you have read these Terms & Conditions of Booking & Service during the “checkout” process, equates to agreeing to the Terms & Conditions of Booking & Service and stipulations as indicated below.
You are advised to read the Terms & Conditions of Booking & Service in full before you make your deposit. Should you require further clarification on any of the conditions below, you are encouraged to contact us.
Deposits and Payments
We require a deposit (as listed on the individual adventure pages) or full payment in order to reserve a place for you on an adventure.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to operate the adventure these deposits/adventure costs will be refunded to you in whole (100%) if the conditions under our ´Cancellation Policy, Unvoluntary cancellation´ apply, or they may be transferred to another adventure at your discretion.
The total balance of the adventure’s cost (final invoice) must be paid 14 days before departure.
In the case where a booking is made when there are less than 14 days until the adventure departure date, the adventure’s cost must be paid in full within 48 hours of receiving an invoice from BuzzyBeeBike.
Failure to pay the booking fee on time will mean your place will be available to other potential customers and your reservation will expire.
In all cases, adventure fees must be paid “in full” before participation in an adventure. No person(s) will be allowed to join an adventure without fully settling their invoice and receiving confirmation from BuzzyBeeBike.

*International transfer fees or charges may not be deducted from the amount listed on your invoice. These fees are an additional charge that the transferor is responsible for paying.
For last minute bookings (if accepted) we only accept cash payments at the counter at our location. We don’t have a PIN terminal!
Involuntary cancellation: On the rare occasions when we, BuzzyBeeBike, must cancel a trip, all payments received to date will be 100% refunded, which constitutes full settlement. There will be absolutely no deductions. Please note this excludes cancellations due to conditions outside BuzzyBeeBike´s control such as war, natural disaster, political instability, etc. In such an event no money will be returned by BuzzyBeeBike and you will need to make a claim on your travel insurance.
Voluntary cancellation: Cancellation by the customer must be done through the booking site or by e-mail. If the client, must cancel the reservation, for all adventures the cancellation fee will be determined according to the following formula (per person):

* Bank fees and any adventure costs incurred by the company as a result of the cancellation. (Examples of costs which may be deducted include non-refundable purchases of specific equipment and cancellation fees for accommodation or services).
Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather or personal emergencies. Please note there is no refund for returning your bike or ending your adventure early or arriving late. Turning up late to the starting point of the adventure for whatever reason is considered a late cancellation and will result in a loss of all payments made. Please note that we do not make any refunds for any unused portion of your bike hire period.
Single supplements are considered part of the trip price and are subject to cancellation fees.
BuzzyBeeBike is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled trips, such as airline tickets, hotel bookings, etc.
Guests who fail to provide signed “Release of Liability and Assumption of All Risks” and personal information forms prior to trip departure will not be allowed to join the trip and the cancellation policy applies. Any client who doesn´t comply with the “Release of Liability and Assumption of All Risks” will be deemed to have left the adventure and is no longer under the care and responsibility of BuzzyBeeBike. Such to be judged by the adventure leader who is in charge of the adventure you join.
Liability and Insurance
Participants of BuzzyBeeBike adventures are covered by our BASIC group accident insurance policy during the time you travel on our adventures. This insurance affords coverage only with respect to such result from bodily injury for which the sum insured is limited to:
Medical expenses (per person per accident): 500.000 THB
Loss of life (per person per accident): 1.000.000 THB
We strongly advise that clients have full personal travel insurance that includes medical costs and emergency evacuation and covers the refund of monies paid in case either party cancels the adventure for any reason.
BuzzyBeeBike reserves the right to make changes to itineraries, and prices due to unforeseen circumstances including weather, without notice. All efforts are made to keep any route changes minimal. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for incidental/consequential costs or expenses you may incur as a result of any changes or cancellations. No compensation is payable for minor changes.
We also cannot be held responsible for any damages/injuries incurred that are attributable to your own actions, acts of some other party unconnected with the contract services or where the damage/injury results from events/circumstances which are outside our control and could not be reasonably foreseen, including bad/wet/dirty road surfaces.
For damages where BuzzyBeeBike is responsible, our liability is strictly limited to twice the total price of the adventure. By booking an adventure with BuzzyBeeBike you, the client, are agreeing to these terms and you accept this limit on our liability. This limit allows us to keep the prices of our adventures as low as possible.
Upon signing up for an adventure you must agree to accept the authority of the adventure leader who is the representative of the company.
At all times the authority of your adventure leader will be final when concerning matters likely to endanger your own health or safety or in regard to behavior that is causing or is likely to cause danger, distress or disturbance to the group and the well-being of the adventure. Failure to abide by the authority of the adventure leader could result in termination of your participation in the adventure, without any rights for restitution of paid adventure fees.
You must be in possession of a valid passport and all the visas and permits required for your adventure. This includes any medical certificates that are required. The client accepts full responsibility for obtaining any and all such documentation. Every client is encouraged to contact the consulate/embassy for the countries they are traveling in respectively to receive the latest and most current information about their immigration/transit policies.
BuzzyBeeBike does not accept responsibility if your documentation is not in order. Information provided by the company about these matters and other related items (clothing, luggage, climate etc.) is given in good faith but without responsibility on the part of the company.
Some of the personal information BuzzyBeeBike collects with your booking may be provided to third party suppliers. This will only be done when required for organizational or legal reasons.
By participating on a BuzzyBeeBike adventure, you agree that photographs and video containing your image can be used by BuzzyBeeBike for promotional use. Photographs and video might be used on our website, our social network pages and/or profiles or in printed promotional materials.
In the event that any clause of our Terms & Conditions of Booking & Service is invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining clauses shall be in full force and effect as if the invalid, illegal or unenforceable clause is omitted.
BuzzyBeeBike pledges never to increase the adventure price except under exceptional circumstances for those that have previously booked the adventure. Circumstances of this policy include: government action or legislation that directs the company to increase prices, exceptional and unfavorable changes in exchange rates that exceed a 20% fluctuation or currency devaluation.
Clients will be notified of any price increase at least 4 weeks before departure.

If we decide to change our Terms & Conditions of Booking & Service, we will post those changes on this page.
Should you have a complaint while on an adventure, you must notify your adventure leader at the earliest opportunity, so that (s)he can do what (s)he can to immediately rectify it. If the problem is not brought to our attention we have no opportunity to rectify it. Any complaints related to booking, inquires, billing, sales or operations should be sent to us in writing, or by email, not more than 14 days after the adventure ends.
